it takes me longer to weigh and wedge clay for plates than it does to make them, that's true for most modest sized pieces actually. i'm with zygote, i can't wait for a pugmill. we almost got one for the school last year but the funding fell through. some day.

Geez! What a neat device. They didn't have that when I took ceramics in college. Pretty cool! I like that squish sound :-)

I guess you could also call it a piece of gym equipment! With all those balls of clay you are making, it does give the arms and shoulders a fair workout :-). Keep those videos coming, I really enjoy seeing you in action!
